MADO - Object

Mado explores the materialization of a nature fragment. On the one hand as a reaction to kitschy, mass-produced plastic flowers and plants. On the other hand, from a longing for the beauty of the everyday, where nature functions as a snapshot that symbolizes the "now". The ongoing research makes the link between naturalia, crafts, industrial design, ikabena and wabi-sabi. This resulted in an artefact with a sculptural character.
